Get button is disabled in the app store

This is the first setup of the new iPad. I have created an Apple ID successfully but can’t install any apps because the Get button is disabled for all apps in the App Store. On all forums it is recommended to remove restrictions, but I haven’t set up any and by the way there is no ‘restrictions’ section in my ‘General’ settings.

Hello Liubou,

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to install an app in the App Store on your iPad, as the Get button is greyed out. To help with your situation, please check the payment method on your Apple ID, and also check for restrictions in Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions.

Change or remove your Apple ID payment information

Use Screen Time to prevent purchasing on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Cheers!
