iPhone XS bricked after splash of water

Hi, I was at the pool a few days ago and my iPhone XS was splashed with some water. I thought that should not be a problem since it is heavily marketed as being water proof.

After a minute it started heating up so I turned my phone off and let it dry. When I got home in a couple of hours I tried to turn it on but with no success. I thought maybe the battery died (it was 30% when I switched it off) and I connected it to the charger - no success.

I thought maybe a few days will pass and it will dry up and will start working again.

3 days has passed already and no success.

On the third day I put it on the radiator to try and heat it up so it would dry faster.

In 15 minutes the screen turned on showing that the battery died, I was happy to see that and quickly connected it to the charger and the phone immediately turned off (even the screen glitched for a second)

I tried to turn it back on and again no success

I put it again on the radiator - and again it showed that the battery is empty, I connected it to the charger again and it shut off again. I decided to leave it on the radiator for like 4-5 hours, after that no more signs of life again.

I am on vacation so I am pretty limited to what I can do now.

Any ideas to what I can do?

Turn it off. Disconnect it from any power sources. Contact Apple when you return home to arrange for an evaluation.
