I want to do a factory reset on my I-phone 6. I am using my MACBOOK PRO 13" /MID 2012 to achieve this which currently has:
OS X YOSEMITE 10.10.5
12.1.2 I-tunes version
I tunes is telling me I need OX X 10.11.4 and I tunes version 12.8
What I have is all I seem to be able to update, how do I fix this? I cannot seem to update to latest versions.

Start by getting OS X El Capitan (10.11). Then update that to OS X 10.11.4. Then update iTunes.
