My daughters iPad screen time says she’s using InCallService a lot. What exactly is that?

Okay, you guys have it all wrong. InCallService is not a dodgy app, you don't need a serious conversation with your daughter. InCallService is definitely developed by Apple because.. recently on iOS there have been glitches/bugs where InCallService is not showing up properly in settings and not displaying its correct name or icon. InCallService is FaceTime. Facetime. The Apple internal call service which your ten year old daughter uses. It's just a bug that its software code name is being displayed instead of FaceTime.

Can pretty much guarantee Apple didn't develop this.
Thanks so much! I figured it was something like that. It’s still a little strange tho because sometimes if she’s used her iPad for 3 hrs in a day it will say InCallService was used for 3 hrs along with her games she plays. So does that just mean it’s been running in the background?
Correct, it is a subsection of the messages app which comes under Social Networking so if she had that app open in the background then most likely because the InCallService stemmed from use inside the Messages app it logs as use for 3 hours besides any other games she has been playing.
It says the developer is apple so I’m guessing it’s the mumbo jumbo in the link. But I still don’t understand what it means. There’s no way she is FaceTiming or placing phone calls on her iPad for as long as it says this is in use.
How old is your daughter? I just did a google search and it could be bad if this is what it appears to be. Let's just say that posting links to incall service would be a violation of forum rules. I would have a VERY serious conversation with your daughter if I were you.
Go out to any web browser and simply type incall service. Then have a conversation with your daughter.
Now, I did find this, but it appears to be for Android devices and is a calling service: https://developer.android.com/reference/android/telecom/InCallService
There's another meaning of incall services, which is what I found initially. Think of person who provides adult services incall.
Instead of trying to guess, your daughter is 10 years old. The two of you need to have a conversation and you have the right to know exactly what she's doing.
