Perhaps I never did post it, and then (unintentionally) tapped “Cancel”.
But whatever occurred, it was on there for hours and is no longer there.
I never got an eMail stating that my post was deleted/removed/edited.
Is it being reviewed by the Host?

Posting the same thing multiple times makes it difficult to help you since responses become disjointed appearing at different locations. We are volunteers here and do not have the time to chase posts and responses in order to find out what has already been said or suggested. This is why duplicate posts are removed.
Posts are deleted for two reasons. One, your post will be deleted if it violates the terms of use. If this happens, you will receive an email explaining why. Two, your post can get deleted if it is in reply to a post that got deleted for cause. In that case, you won't receive an email.

It was about booting a Virtual Machine (VM) from a Live CD. (Don’t reply with the answer to it, as I’ll repost it, from what I recall asking).
Maybe it was the duplicate thread you started. I recall some thread about a live cd which was responded to then another from the same poster about the same issue. I'm only speculating but when you mentioned live cd I seem to recall a duplicate thread. Duplicate posts are a reason why posts get removed.
The hosts know the difference between an ‘oops’ and ‘breaking the rules’.
They’re not perfect, I have occasionally gotten a nasty gram when I simply replied to the rule breaking post, on other cases maybe I should have gotten an email but I wasn’t really ‘bad’ just collateral damage.
They know that duplicate posts are often part of the forum software messing up (A server burp) and that there’s nothing malicious in it, just people trying their best.
They are fairly understanding....that said, if you do break the rules and get in trouble, you will know it.

Recent changes in the forum software also led to an increase in duplicates because it appeared that things didn't post. So, people posted again but, by then, the first post had appeared. It seems to have calmed down a bit but, as Skydiver119 pointed out, sometimes it just happens.
Unless you are intentionally posting the same thing over and over again, it's not an issue.
It appears that it is an issue since another of the duplicate (triplicate) threads by this poster has been removed. It is too complicated and time consuming to follow three threads by the same poster about the same thing.
