How do I uninstall HP Printer Drivers v.2.4.1?

After I upgraded to OSX 10.6 my HP PSC 1350 printer/scanner could not scan with the HP software, but I could scan with Image Capture.app:

When I first installed HP Printer Drivers v.2.4.1 ( http://support.apple.com/kb/dl907)
I did reboot but I did not run Repair Permissions.

After your suggestions I couldn’t find the printer drivers to drag to the trash so I ran HP Uninstaller.app and reinstalled the old drivers from the HP support site:
HP Installer_PSC1300v9.7.dmg [1/1, 197.2M]
and
Inkjet7 10_6_Print_Mac1.dmg [1/1, 18.56M]
I repaired permissions and rebooted.

And I still cannot scan with my HP PSC 1350.

Time to buy a new scanner?

Thank you for your help.
