No Profiles in System Preferences

I'm trying to delete the weknow.ac malware from my mac, and one of the recommended steps is to open System Preferences, click on Profiles, etc.

The (first) problem I'm having is that there's no Profiles icon. To fix THAT problem, another thread here said to "click the Finder icon in the Dock, choose Go>Go To Finder, Type ~/Library/Caches"...

I'm in Finder, but I don't see any option to "choose Go," etc.

Can someone point me in the right direction? TIA.

Greetings, amishboy51.

I see that you're having some problems using Finder on your Mac, and I'm happy to help.

Get to know the Finder on your Mac -- With Finder open, look at the top left-hand corner of the display of your Mac. You'll find "Go" a few settings to the right of the Apple Menu ().

Take care!
