utun interface socket API on MacOS

Hi. We are using the kernel control API to establish a utun interface by providing sc_unit value equal to 0 in the control socket structure. We notice that the socket connect API fails intermittently because the utun number returned by the OS seems to be already occupied (busy). Is there any known issue with using sc_unit = 0?

Alcatel Link Key IK40VD on a Mac 12.0.1 via RNDIS Hi Guys I have a Alcatel Link Key IK40 RNDIS USB modem that works well with Windows and Linux. I tried connecting it to my Mac 12.0.1 and the device is detected but neither captive portal nor default browser opens up to initiate an internet connection. I see there is a HoRNDIS package available for 10.11 and up. Has anybody managed to install this and make Alcatel IK40 work with 12.0.1 Regards, Anish
