Apple watch 4 not tracking calories

Hi team,

I just bought my apple series 4 watch and I have subscribed to a fitness sweat app. Every time I do my resistance training, it's showing the ave heart rate and total time but the active calories and total calories are zero.

On my activity ring also, I set a goal of 540 calories and even on a 30-min cross training, it would show 800+ calories which I don't think is accurate.

Appreciate if anybody can help.

Hey, nitz98!

Congratulations on your new Apple Watch! If I understand your post, you have some concerns about the accuracy of the readings taken during a workout. I'm happy to help!

Based on what you've described as happening, I would recommend utilizing the steps outlined in the Apple Support article Get the most accurate measurements using your Apple Watch - Apple Support, making sure to follow the steps to calibrate your Apple Watch: Calibrating your Apple Watch for improved Workout and Activity accuracy - Apple Support.

Cheers!
