Watch Not Responding to Touch

My Apple Watch 4 is glitchy (I can't close apps, can't send text, etc) in responding to my touch when on my wrist, but responds perfectly when I just hold it in my hand. It is brand new and this has been the case since day one.

my apple watch is glitching, like somebody is touching and using it without touching it my apple watch is glitching as if somebody is touching it, i can not control it at all. i have tried resetting it and its still doing it, what can i do ?

There is nothing in settings for this, so... new watch still in warranty... Contact Apple Support
