How can I add this digit on my apple tv if dont have remote? The whole point of downloading this app was to able to use apple tv without remote.

You will need the physical remote in order to setup the remote app. It is not meant as a replacement, but a supplement.

The alternative is a bluetooth keyboard but you will need to restore the Apple TV first.

Another, if you have a Mac, is the cider TV app. But that will also require a restore prior to setup.
