Touch screen is not working. What to do?

Try a reset. Push the crown and side button in until the Apple logo appears. Ta.

Call Apple support. Or make an appointment with your local Apple Store for them to examine. One last thing to do is unpair the Watch and repair it.

I had the same issue. Tried what you suggested. Did not work. Tried again; still no luck. Any other suggestions?
