Apple TV not showing last week's episodes as part of season?

I have Apple TV model A1469, i.e. 3rd Generation from 2013. And, I have active subscriptions to two shows, The Big Bang Theory and The Orville. For reasons I can't fathom, the episodes of these shows from last week, i.e., BBT Season 12 Episode 12 and The Orville Season 2 Episode 3, are showing up on the Apple TV menu as though they were different shows and not part of the seasons to which they belong. This week's episodes appear just where they belong.

In iTunes on my Mac, the two episodes are right where they belong showing up as episodes of their respective shows in the correct seasons.

What could possibly be causing this? And have I been singled out for special treatment or is this a problem others are seeing?

I solved this problem myself (while talking to Apple Support who apparently had not heard about this). Deleting the episodes and re-downloading did not solve the problem.

But, changing the name of the TV Show in iTunes and then changing it back to what it was supposed to be did the trick.
