Blocked number still showing up on Mac

I blocked a number and that successfully stops iMessages from appearing on my iPhone and iPad. But not on my Mac. Despite the number being blocked iMessages from that number get thru to my Mac. What is the magic to stop iMessages blocked on my iDevices from getting thru to my Mac?

My badinov for missing the fact that you've already checked the blocked list. I believe it's a bug and there's a work-around which is to block the # via macOS FaceTime which will carry over to Messages.

P.S.: Curious nevertheless which version of macOS and iOS this bug pertains to.

My OS is 10.14.2. I did the following

1) Create an entry in my address book (named Nobody) with that phone number.

2) As per the reference discussion I was able to block Nobody in FaceTime

3) It did correctly show as blocked in iMessage Blocked sub-tab.

4) Deleted Nobody from my Address book.

5) The name Nobody disappeared from the Block sub-tab, however the number stuck.

A bit of a work around but seems to do the job

Aye. My compliments to you for the heads up and thanks a million to you for the + feedback❗️I'm sure you know this part but, for the record, the iOS Phone and Messages apps give you a way to block logged #'s that aren't saved as contacts. E.g. iOS Messages > within the conversation, tap on the label up top (which will simply be the # when it's not saved as a contact) and then tap on the info symbol to open the Details page and then tap on the # itself and then tap on Block this Caller. Now here with iOS 12.1.3 and macOS Mojave 10.14.3, these are syncing over to the macOS Messages blocked list! Still can't add to the blocked list via macOS Messages itself, though.
