64-bit hardware
I have 32-bit hardware on my mac laptop. Do I have to purchase a new laptop in order to have the 64-bit hardware? Or can I upgrade my current 32-bit laptop to 64-bit hardware?

The message indicates that you may have 32 bit software on your computer. It will not be an issue until Apple releases the next major OS upgrade. At that time, you can simply choose to not to upgrade to the newer version. Your 32 bit software will work as it always has.

Hi,
I'm not sure which MacBook you have, though you could not upgrade 32bit hardware MacBook to 64bit one.
I have the MacBook Pro from 2014. OK so it sounds like I have to get a new MacBook in order to use the apps at their best version - right?
Your computer is 64 bit.
Oh I got a pop on my computer that said that people who have 32-bit would be getting this message at the beginning of each month. This is why I thought I had a 32-bit
Great - thank you!
You’re quite welcome.
