Color profile issue with MSI Radeon RX 560 128-bit 4GB GDRR5 in my Mac Pro (Mid 2010) running OS 10.13.6. The screen colors are very muted with a purple hue.

Just installed the Apple recommended new MSI Radeon RX 560 128-bit 4GB GDRR5 in my Mac Pro (Mid 2010) running HighSierra, OS 10.13.6. The color profile is way off. The screen colors are very muted with a purple hue. I tried this card on two different monitors with the same exact result. Also, same result when installed in a different PCI slot. My older ATI Radeon HD 5770 does not have this problem. Second card identical card from MSI produced identical result.

Thanks for everyone's help.

MSI technical support got back to me and suggested that I RMA this card which I intend to do.

To replace it, I've ordered a used MSI Radeon HD 7870 2GB OC for Mac Pro. Hopefully, this will be plug and play with Apple EFI boot screen from the DVI port as stated by the vendor. The vendor also claimed that this card supports metal.

So, I'm hopeful. :-)
