APPLE SSD SM0128G Hard drive capacity is much smaller after reformatting.

I had to reformat my internal drive and after doing so it went from 3TB to 121.33 GB. Is this something that I can fix (thru Terminal or other software) or an indication that I need to replace the drive? Thanks…

Was this a Fusion drive? If so, you split it and need to fix it.

It has to be a fusion drive - the answer to your question appears to be in the description of the drive itself:

APPLE SSD SM0128G shows the drive is 128 GB with an available space of 121 GB.

Open Disk Utility and check the entries in the left column.

Tried the TERMINAL fix as listed above. Didn't work. Got this:

Internally-located hardware disk device known to the currently-running macOS: Solid State (disk0)

Volume exported by partitions or storage systems hosted on the above device: untitled (disk2s1)

Your computer must have exactly 1 solid-state and 1 rotational disk drive

I'm not exactly sure what that means but I have a feeling that I'm gonna need to replace this thing.

Are there any other disks showing in that list ( you may be able to scroll down). If not, I would imagine the HDD portion of the Fusion drive has died.

Open Disk Utility and see if the drive shows up.
