how do I recover deleted keynote file that was not on my icloud?! please I need help ASAP

How when and why was the Keynote file deleted?
Normal procedure is to go to your back up drive and retrieve it there.
If you have no back up arrangement:
- check the Trash folder
- use a recovery application to search and recover deleted files, we use Data Rescue from prosoft engineering
