Iphone 7 Plus Overheating

My iphone 7 plus is overheating. It gets to a point that it burns if touched from the top. I also getting a warning popup "your iphone needs to cool down". All my apps are terminated, phone restarted, no bt or wifi on, basically the phone is idle, fully charged, disconnected from everything and hot as ****. ***
