Setting up Apple Music on IPod touch

Hi,

Im attempting to set up my iPod touch with Apple Music, I’ve subscribed and started adding and downloading music to my library. When I go to play songs it keeps skipping through the downloaded songs and won’t play anything, any ideas?

Songs downloaded to my iPod touch 6th gen won't play... Or if there's a WiFi connection, it takes me to the screen where it prompts me to join Apple Music. I don't want to join Apple Music. I just want to play the songs I PAID MONEY to download to my iPod, but don't seem to work. I've already tried resyncing and restarting my iPod touch. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks, Thomas
