Glitch?

Well, on any document or image on my Mac, a pop up always appears saying " this document was deleted on another device, would you like to keep or delete this item". Even though I press keep the pop up appears every 5-6 seconds after that and it is very distracting to work with. How do I fix this? This has happened to every document or image of mine,
