I'm trying to install Mojave.
The Mojave installer is damaged or incomplete.
I need to uninstall and reinstall it. How do I do this?
I've tried moving it to the trash, but it won't go away. And I can't reinstall it until I get rid of the corrupted one first.
I know you said you tried to move it to the trash, so excuse me . This is how it has worked for others. Look in the Applications Folder for "Install macOS Mojave.app". If it is there drag it to the Trash and enter your password to trash it. Download a fresh copy of the macOS Mojave installer. If this does not work for you, then I do not know the answer.
Thanks for the info. I tried it again and after opening the Trash first and dragging the installer directly into the folder it did indeed ask for my password and the installer is now gone.
