Iphone 8 storage full but i still have around 32 GB

My new iphone 8 shows storage full but it isn’t. I am using the paid iCloud storage and i also have around 32 GB of free storage. Is it a bug or something, i have started seeing this after updating my iphone to IOS 12.1.1. Can someone help me out?
