iOS 12: Spurious AppleTV shown, how to identify it?

I have an iPad 5 running iOS 12.1.1. When I use the AirPlay menu to select a player device, it often shows an Apple TV. I do not yet have one. See the screengrabs below.

How can I get details about the Apple TV that is shown?

I live in an apartment complex where there doubtless are many people who do have Apple TVs. I suspect that AirPlay is detecting one or more of them. I do not want to be accidentally sending my audio and video to someone else's device.
