Clean install mojave - installer don't start

I have a macbook air, and I want to make a clean installation with mojave.

I've done all steps, from download the installer from apple store create a bootable USB with the follow command:

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Mojave.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled -- /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Mojave.app

Then I reboot my macbook with the USB flash drive, hold down the 'option' key and got the select boot screen.

When I select the flash drive to start the installer, I got a black screen with Apple logo and a progress bar, that went well and fill the 100% bar, but then nothing happens.

I've already wait for like 4 hours and nothing.

Can anybody help me?

I Just want to format my mac to have a new fresh start without junk files.

It appears you might have downloaded a "stub" of the Install macOS Mojave.app. If so, you can't make a USB installer from it. I believe it has to be run from a current OS - High Sierra in your case. You need the FULL installer of Mojave for the USB installer.

Try Internet Recovery using Command+Option+R keys. This should boot to Apple's servers and present the Utilities Menu where you can use Disk Utility to erase your current drive or Macintosh HD volume. The Menu should also show Mojave as the OS that can be reinstalled.
