“Better me” cancelling
I loaded “Better me” app. to my phone, but didn’t accept the free 1 week offer and cancelled the application from my phone, do they still charge me? How can I cancel the subscription totally?

You must first cancel any subscription automatic renewal (if you simply delete an app this does not cancel subscriptions):
View, change, or cancel your subscriptions [subscription automatic renewal] - https://support.apple.com/HT202039 - "Your membership or subscription might renew if you don't cancel your membership or subscription more than 24 hours before your renewal date." At this stage the renewal is considered a purchase. For a new subscription the sale is probably effective from when you first agree to subscribe. Canceling a subscription does not automatically start a refund since the existing subscription will normally continue until the end of its term and then just not renew.
If you wish a refund: Apple's terms of purchase in the USA are, "All Transactions are final" (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/us/terms.html), but some countries have different laws so check terms for your country at: http://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/. If sales are final then it is Apple's decision if they want to grant a refund. You can always ask, and people do get refunds on a case by case basis, but Apple can also say no. To request a refund:
Request a refund for an App Store or iTunes Store purchase - https://support.apple.com/HT204084
To request a refund or: Report a Problem - http://reportaproblem.apple.com - "Sign In for help with iTunes purchases made in the last 90 days" (Does not work for subscriptions, use the contacts below.)
If a reporting a problem request is unsuccessful you can also try:
Other ways to contact iTunes Support:

or

Read use details for "free" apps. Many have in-app purchases and/or free trials which automatically turn into paid subscriptions after the trial ends.
If you see the app subscription but no cancel button then likely the subscription will just expire at the end of the time period and that will be it. You can't really cancel a running subscription, you can only turn of automatic renewal so it won't renew at the end of hte period. If you don't see the cancel renewal button then it means you have already turned it off.
Whenever I subscribe to a free trial, I immediately go to the account/itunes store where my subscription is and I cancel the automatic renewal. I did that with better me (I think I did it anyway) but I am still waiting on the date the free trial ends to see if it worked. I think you should probably cancel any free trial automatic renewal immediately after you get it because they rely on you not paying attention so that the next subscription is renewed automatically.
Am I the only one who has paid an enormous amount of money for Better Me not realizing it? Do they make it difficult or am I just not paying close enough attention???
I also have this app and I clicked onto the 7 day trial. But I no longer want to use and am looking to cancel the subscription so I am not charged but I got into settings and onto my apple ID and cannot find subscriptions to then cancel it, and there is no option to cancel on the app. What do I do?
Thank you very much
Hey eryn, I am curious, were you charged after the free trial?
No I was not.
