Notes App Text is Fuzzy

The text in Apple's Notes app is fuzzy on my 11" iPad Pro Cellular. It's legible, just not nearly as crisp and sharp as all the other apps. I looked at Notes on my old iPad 3, and that text is perfectly sharp. I tried powering down and re-starting the iPad Pro, but that didn't help. I did briefly use either the Slide Over or Split View (not sure which it was) with Notes and another app - could that have affected its display? Has anyone else noticed this, or found a solution? Thanks.

Hey dancerjbc,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. I understand your Notes app is not displaying text as you'd expect. I want to help get this working as it should. Just to be sure, does this appear the same for all notes or certain ones? Are you on the latest iOS software? Does it appear the same if you force close the Notes app?

How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Let us know. Cheers.

Hi Sterling. I'm on iOS 12.1.1 (16C50). Yes, it appears the same for all notes. There's a small hint of grey shadowing above each letter, and this does not appear on any other app I've been using. I did force close the Notes app several times. I also reset the iPad, but kept my data. When that didn't work I deleted and re-downloaded the Notes app, but it still looks the same, even after more force closings. Also, every note has a slightly grainy gray background, instead of a pure white background. Is this normal? Thanks for your response.
