Sneaky repeat subscriptions

Signed up for a 'free' walking App and looks like I've been billed for 'upgrading' to premium when I have never even used the App once..... 9 payments at £9.99, I think this is very sneaky and clearly a way to scam people out of money in my opinion...... not happy at all with this sly approach!!!!
