iPhone 7/ 7 Plus - 8/ 8 Plus Home Button

My homebutton has been in responsive. Yes, it is cracked but It has been working. I think that their is something wrong where the Lightning Connector when I put the cable in, it is loose and only the Home Button starts to overheat. My phone automatically restarted when this problem started. Then their was a odd sound coming from the Taptic Engine, then I got a message that Touch ID couldn’t be activated. I have been having a lot of problems with this phone. I hope that I don’t have to replace the Home Button.
