Having two sets of headphones???

Is there a way you can have two sets of headphones connected to this iPad? My partner and I are looking to use this iPad when on flights.. his bluetooth beats headphones connect and work fine. When we connect my cheapo kmart bluetooth headphones, they'll connect but will not play audio while the beats headphones are connected. They will play audio when the beats headphones are disconnected though. Wondering if this is a non apple product issue or if you can't have two working bluetooth headphones at one time?

Some wireless headphones will allow sharing between multiple headsets but they need to be from the same manufacturer, and not all wireless headphones by the same manufactures will support this feature. For the most part one headphone connects to the iOS device then sends the audio to the other headphone. Bose QuietComfort headphones support this but you'll need to instal their Bose Connect app to utilize this feature. You will pay a premium for the Bose but they are one of the best at noise cancelling which is a bonus on flights.

I still get on some flights where they will still "announce no bluetooth headphones allowed". In this case you'll have to revert back to using a basic headphone Y splitter that would allow you to pug 2 wired headphones to one source. It is probably the most economical way to share the audio, a splitter can be picked up for a few dollars.
