Media keys not working properly after upgrade to Mojave

These keys are not working

F4 - Launchpad key
F5,F6 - Keyboard backlight control key (Already UNCHECK "Adjust keyboard brightness in low light")
F12 - Increase sound volume key

And, command F7-F12 are shifted to left (new F6-F11)

Certain keys don't work on MacBook Air (2017) Monterrey 12.1 Some keys don't work on my keyboard (tilde, equal, F12 volume up, left and right brackets, up arrow and right arrow). I just inherited this computer, so I'm not sure how long they haven't been working. Thank you for any help--not being able to use the F12 volume up key is especially annoying.

Pressing volume keys after mojave update causes crash, resulting in logout. Every time I press one of the volume control keys (mute, volume up, volume down). My screen goes black after a few seconds. Then the login screen opens and I have to login again. I can still adjust my sound volume in the settings. It's just the buttons that don't work. Can anyone help me? This is really annoying. I have already tried resetting my NVRAM, resetting my SMC, I did the "sudo killall coreaudiod". Nothing seems to work. I've done many google searches, but no results.

Try resetting NVRAM and SMC.

Try restarting in Safe Mode and test to see if the problem still occurs in this mode.

If it is not fixed, please run Etrecheck and post its report here.
