my phone is cracked and I need it to get it fixed. I don’t have a job right now so I was hoping with my insurance with my phone I was wondering if the cost would be the same $100 for iPhone 7. I have apple care insurance.

Isn’t AppleCare the same thing as insurance?
Insurance usually last longer but costs more.
If you damaged an iPhone 7 it's over two years old and the coverage has ended.
I have only had this new phone for a year I’m still paying payments on it. I have insurance then Apple changed it to Apple care. I’m not sure why.
Contact the local Apple Store and they will tell you how much you should pay for the repair with your insurance or Apple Care or whatever.
Call Apple and ask them to explain your coverage.
