iTunes authorization

how do I authorize my iTunes on the new major os?

MacBook Air (2018 or later)

The OS is not related to your iTunes Authorization. You authorize a computer to iTunes by opening the iTunes app, tapping on Account>Authorizations>Authorize this computer.

Again, the OS has nothing to do with it. The Authorization process is done via the iTunes app, and as long as you have the most current version of iTunes, then it would be where I described.
