Our 2017 Buick Enclave will not reliably or completely connect with our iPhone X or iPhone 8-Plus. Bluetooth is intermittent, contacts will not show up, text messages don’t appear on the screen. These features all work with our friend’s Android phone, but not with our iPhones.

We’ve tried updating phones and car and multiple restarts, etc. Buick dealer says that it’s an iPhone problem and he seems to be right. Anyone have a solution?
