Is anyone having problems with the iPhone XR and screen flickering at random times. Rebooting the devices gets rid of it but happens again after awhile

Did you get charged for a repair? This thing is only a few months old! Shouldn't it still be under warranty? How much did you end up having to pay for a repair? Guess I am going to be hitting the Apple Store about this.
Apple were putting it down to a software bug. They said to reset the phone and set up as new but the problem was still there. Took it to an apple reseller and it’s a faulty screen so possibly the same for you
Awesome. I'll go by the Apple store when I get a chance. Problem is, the flickering is random right now so not really recreated for then to see the problem. At least I know I have some time with the warranty. Thanks for the info!
Man that sucks.
I went to the Apple Store and my phone was actively doing its thing. Screen was completely black and wouldn't display anything, everything else was fine. Ran diagnostics and said it was component failure. He said most of the time they can just replace the screen right there in the store, but sometimes (as was the case with mine), Apple requested it be sent in so they could do further diagnostics on the problem. 7-14 days it will take, but at least they gave me a loaner phone in the mean time. I hope you are able to get a resolution to yours!

Nope. Haven't had that problem.
It’s covered under warranty so there’s no charge. Put it under display - image quality. Mine is away being repaired now
