iTunes duplicating TV Shows in Library

When I open my iTunes Library for TV shows, I am bombarded with icons for the same shows duplicated over and over. Hiding and unhiding the shows in question does nothing to solve the problem, and only deletes the downloaded episodes I've already stored. I've signed out of and back into iTunes, and even uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes on my PC.

The problem is only a week old, but it's driving me crazy.

This is highly annoying. Can someone please tell me how to rectify the issue?

itunes duplicating tv episodes I'm having a problem with my library on my Mac Mini mostly where the TV episodes often double up even though I've downloaded one it wants to download another so I either have to hide it which often means I can't see it on my other devices until I go into my account and unhide it but if I delete the original download then re-download this sorts it out but I don't want to keep re-downloading these episodes all the time. Is this a settings thing in my account or Mac I have looked but I can't see anything , does anyone else get this problem and have you managed to sort it out. I'm using ios 12.0.1 i believe on my mac that is 2012 thanks for any help.

Shuffling TV shows and movies Why has iTunes removed the Skip when Shuffling option from TV shows and movies when they have finally added shuffle to TV and Movie playlists on Apple TV 4? Even the previous workaround of changing the media type to “Music Video”, turning off the selection for Skip When Shuffling, and then switching back to TV or Movie is gone. This seems counterintuitive. Is the only solution, truly, to get a previous version of iTunes in Order to adjust the option? Note: this is in reference to items purchased through iTunes. Ripped shows still have the option available.

Can no longer see TV tab in iTunes where I used to be to click on the TV tab to search for a tv show. I can no longer see any TV shows. Used to be able to click on the iTunes pink/purple star and search for a TV show, now TV shows are not available anymore; only music, books, podcasts, movies etc. How do I get the TV tab back and why did it disappear?
