Does the Last Modified date change when you put something in the Recycle Bin?

Does the Last Modified date change when you put something in the Recycle Bin? Or is that the date when something else was done to a file (like importing or something)? For example, a video in my Recycle Bin has a date last modified of November 5, 2018. Is that the date it was "deleted" (I know it's just a soft delete)? Or is that the date it was imported or created? It has not been edited, I know.

I have looked here and other places without finding an answer.
