"Adobe Application Support" in not optimized for your Mac and needs to be updated.

THE ERROR:

I have never gotten this error, prior to just now: "Adobe Application Support" is not optimized for your Mac and needs to be updated. The message says that it will not be available for Future versions of MacOS. I am being prompted for the 10.14.3 update, just for note. Is that why? If I instal 10.14.3, will this software be inoperable?

32-bit app compatibility with macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 and later - Apple Support states:

  1. Starting with macOS High Sierra 10.13.4, apps that have not been updated to use 64-bit processes produce a one-time alert when opened. This gives users advance notice that they are running 32-bit software, which will not be compatible with macOS in the future.
  2. The 64-bit transition for macOS and macOS apps is still underway, so final transition dates have not yet been established. But now is a good time to check with the software developer to see if 64-bit versions of your favorite titles are available.

I am referring to 10.14.3 -- Not 10.13.4

Indeed, I am aware of Apple's advancement towards 64-bit-only compatability. 10.15, so I hear, is when this will all begin, as a few Apple reps have directly informed me of this on the phone, in the past. Why Adobe would just popup here is the concern.

10.13.4 was, a you-know-what, as my Mac just died out, and screen flickering was consistent. Getting an AppleCare + plan, is what saved me, just for note.

That seems to be irrelevant in the Support Article. There should be no concern on your part regarding this notice. The Support Article is providing advanced warning for users well in advance of any specific restriction. That is why they started the warning with 10.13.4.

In my experience the warning pops up indiscriminately and erratically, sometimes repeating, sometimes not repeating.

"In my experience the warning pops up indiscriminately and erratically"

CORRECT: I agree, as I've been a Mac user for quite sometime, and I know it would be different for all out there.

Any thoughts at to why I stopped getting this popup message erratically for Microsoft 2008? They were daily, and came up quite annoyingly, all have stopped.
