my MX Vertical mous *logitech* wont connect via bluetooth on my 2018 Macbook Pro

Dears,

Been trying to connect my mouse via bluetooth on my new macbook pro, my previous laptop *Macbook pro mid 2015* had no issues with this connection via bluetooth with this very mouse, it always connected with no issues but on my new macbook pro it did not work what so ever.

What happens is that once it connects it rabidly disconnects and reconnects and end up disconnected. Is this a Time Machine related issue? what would be the solution? I tried debugging via *Shift + Option* then clicking on bluetooth menu and resting and that did not work as well, tried using the unifying connectivity option and then attempting to connect via bluetooth and that did not work.

I had to get this new laptop and i used time machine to backup my work files and moving them to a new laptop and that did not work ..

Kindly please help me with this since the point of this very mouse is ergonomics and bluetooth connectivity.

quick notes: Im on macOS Mojave, version 10.14.2

Kind regards,

Ahmad

For testing purposes, if you have anything plugged into the ports of your computer remove them. Now attempt to pair the mouse with the computer. If this works and if it remains connected and behaves, one at a time, plug items back into the computer and use the mouse a little before plugging the next item in.

If at some point your mouse disconnects it is a good bet that the bluetooth mouse is experiencing interference caused by one of your USB devices - probably the last one plugged in. I experienced the same issue with my Mac mini. I solved the problem by switching my USB devices to the other side of the computer and purchases a shielded USB cable for my USB hub.
