Hi! Several month ago I bought used but in perfect overal and working condition Apple Iphone 7 256GB Jet Black! Seller said that this cellphone still have almost 2 years AppleCare warranty! But several weeks ago I got a huge crack on my screen and beated housing near the port! Yesterday I checked my Iphone on checkcoverage,apple,com and this respond I received: We’re sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contact us.

Can anyone tell me what's happen??? My Iphone not under AppleCare warranty? Seller lied about it??? Today i receive GSX report, look what its showing:

Coverage Status: Out of Warranty (No Coverage)

Replacement details:

Serial # (here is serial number of my iphone)

IMEI 1: (here is imei of my Iphone)

IMEI 2 (no information)

Type: Replaced

Replacemed Date (08/10/18)

Sorry sounds like your phone should have been returned to Apple and has been. Not a lot you can do except contact the seller and get your money back. Ta

I agree with Peter_watt he’s not being straight with you. I would take Apple word as they have the records. You can complain to Apple support but I suspect you will be wasting yours and their time. Ta

I called to the seller and he said that I have new replaced Iphone! It's true or he lying me??? Or I using Iphone that should be replaced???? And if seller tell me the truth why Apple Care warranty doesn't cover my Iphone?

I called to seller again and asked why my new replaced Iphone do not cover by Apple Care warranty and he said that according to the New AppleCare Policy, cell phones that was replaced before 01.01.2019 do not covering by AppleCare Warranty!!!! But I can't find any information about this new rules on apple website!! This is truth or its total lying??

Whatever he said about replaced phones, yours was the broken one that should have been posted back, not the replaced one. Many of these rogue phones become “seller refurbished” and sold online. They work, but remain stolen property and as such can be seized.
