Change the Dollar sign it English pound

I have a new iPad Pro brought in the states however I live in the UK. How do I change the Dollar sign to the £ sign in Numbers etc?

Cent ¢ symbol Cent ¢ symbol not available in English Canada Keyboard. Apple mobile devices like iPhone have been around since 2007. I was hoping that that Apple would know that Canada has ¢'s also. If I use the American English Keyboard where the ¢ symbol is then the auto correct doesn't correct in Canadian English.

Eliminate country code in the currency sign Hello, I am seeing country specific code in the USD currency (US$). I need it to look like a "$" sign, straight. How can that be achieved? Best, V

In Settings -> General look for Region & Country.
