No. iCloud is a storage and syncing service, and the only apps it hosts are Apple's own iCloud webapps.

No. Apps are downloaded and installed on devices. The app is hosted for download in the App stores servers which could be considered as being in the cloud, but apps must be downloaded and installed to be be run.

I wonder if Apple will offer a public cloud service to host apps in the near future. Just speculating, and I suspect not, (Not enough revenue compared to selling devices ? ) . We will see. Prediction is difficult, especially the future.
Maybe what I am looking for is Server Side Swift applications, which can include web services, database services, other application services and could be hosted on a variety of servers, but not at Apple, at least not at the moment.

Thanks, I suspected that. However, what if you developed an app for the App Store, as an Apple Developer. Could that App be hosted on iCloud?
