Accidentally reported text as junk

I know this has been asked before, but I’m hoping Apple may have made some improvements since... anyone had any luck restoring message contacts they accidentally reported as Junk? I don’t have a back up for my phone.

Hi jacqui213,

Thanks for posting to Apple Support Communities for help today. It sounds like you're concerned about text messages that have been accidentally reported as junk.

I have an article I can point you to that may be able to help: Block phone numbers and contacts on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If you scroll down to "Report spam or junk in the Messages app" you will find "Reporting junk doesn't block the sender from being able to send another message. If you don't want to receive these messages, you need to block the contact." It would delete the message when reported, but the sender can send you another message as long as they aren't blocked. You can find out more about unblocking a contact under "Manage your blocked phone numbers and contacts" in the same article.

I hope that helps.

Have a fantastic weekend!
