Walkie-Talkie is a FaceTime audio connection between 2 Apple Watch users. You press and hold the watch face to talk, and the person you are communicating with presses and holds the watch face to talk back.

You and the person you are using Walkie-Talkie with must both have Apple Watches, and you both need to have FaceTime on your iPhone.
I use it to quickly tell my Wife something, or when we are trying to find each other in the Mall.
However, I've also used it with my Wife from 300 miles away. Distance is not an issue as long as you both have an internet connection.
