Can I read a BitLocker-protected drive on Mac?

Due to the needs of my work, I sometimes have to protect an external hard drive in

Windows using BitLocker. Today I need to use the BitLocker-protected hard drive to do

some tests on a MacBook. After I connect the drive to the MacBook, a dialog

pops up telling “The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer”. I

have to turn off BitLocker encryption on this drive before I can use it on MacBook.

But that’s very time-consuming. I wonder if there is any way I can read a

BitLocker-encrypted drive on Mac? Thanks in advance.

Hi, guys!

In general, Mac cannot read BitLocker-protected drive because Mac OS

doesn’t support BitLocker. But never mind, with the help of BitLocker Reader for

Mac, you can easily unlock BitLocker-protected drive on Mac. Once the drive

is unlocked on your Mac, you can open it to read and write files in it.
