.plist file removed by Safari after download

Dear all,

I am a beta tester for a major graphical software and the development team has sent me a file called "Info.plist" with which to substitute the equally named file in the App's bundle to test the usage of High Performance GPU.

The only issue is that, after the file (53KB) has finished downloading, I cannot open it.

Safari shows me this when I try to open it.

There is no trace of it in the Downloads folder.

Why is this happening?

What can I do to find it?

Doing a Finder research I cannot find it (with my current knowledge).

Thank you for your help!

All the best

Thank you, Eric.

I ran Find Any File and found the same results as with a normal Finder research.

All the Info.plist files I can find are relative to the Mail app or to the PhotoAgent process/app.

The issue I was having was not a problem in opening but the fact that Safari seems to move that .plist file right after it has finished downloading. The point is... where has it been moved to? And why?
