My apple ID is associated with my former company's email address. My MacPro wants me to update iTunes and keeps faulting to the former company's email. How do I change this?

If you are still using that ID, you can do a name change to a current email address. If you have already done a name change, have you signed out of iTunes and back in?

Apple ID Name Change

What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support     I suggest doing this before you change your Apple ID or password.

If you have created a new ID, One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.
