Importing Photos from iphone to Photos

How can I import all my photos and clips at once from my iphone to my Photos without having it stop the importing all together due to a file it doesn't support, each time it stops I have to turn off my iphone and on again for it to read the photos. Is there an option for us to click so it may skip the ones it does not recognize rather then each time stopping the import process and me turning on and off my iphone. I have spent the whole day Importing photos and restarting my phone as it doesn't recognize files which I have edited on different apps.

Dear leonie,

yes there are many but this is not at all logical approaxh for apple, i have about 4000 photos and clips on my phone. This is why i got 128G so ai won‘t have to worry about trasferring often I was hoping in one sitting Max an hour it could transfer all my files. Apple should provide an option to skip files that are not compatible as they know we use apps to edit photos and clips. It is extremely time consuming for me to go through 4000 photos and see which ones are not compatible.

Thank you.
