Cant see older received messages in iMessage

Have an conversation in iMessage and when scrolling back to oct last year i can only see the messages that i sent, not the received ones. Just blue bubbles from myself..

Any ideas how to fix?

Are your Keep Messages settings set to keep Forever or 1 year?
