Library can't be opened from icloud Drive - FCP

Hi! I'm new to mac and FCP. I am trying to import files and open a library downloaded for a tutorial course and have saved them to my desktop. When I try and open the premade library I get this notification.

"This document cannot be opened from icloud Drive. Copy the document to a local, SAN, or supported SMB location, then try again."

Where do I need to have the files saved to open them? I would prefer not to put them on an external drive.

Thanks! :)

It looks like you have elected to have “Desktop & Documents in iCloud”.

Your library needs to be stored locally, so as Tom said put in some local folder, such as your Movies folder.
